El Burrito Restaurant has been serving the FINEST IN AUTHENTIC MEXICAN
FOOD in the North Davis Area for many years. Started by Manuel Gallegos,
Sr. in 1976, we are still family owned and operated. It's amazing how
we've grown since 1976. Manuel's El Burrito is now a new 3,800 square-foot
buckskin-colored Spanish-style adobe with a dining patio and sports bar
cantina, and our new seating capacity has grown to 175 customers.
In our first restaurant we recall pouring bottled pop into paper cups and our family cooked everything out of home Crock-Pots. We use only authentic Mexican recipes shared by George Garcia, also known as, "Uncle George", who Manuel Sr. entered into business with, only to buy him out. We started out small, and just kept getting bigger. The reason Manuel's El Burrito has succeeded is because we serve quality Mexican food and it is always consistent. Our customers have come to expect the fine food that we serve, which is always great.
Our Menu has the variety that one would expect of the seasoned Mexican restaurant owners. Everything from the most delicious Chile Verde in the west to Sizzling Fajitas and our succulent Mexican Steak, our desserts are nothing to skip either!
